Position: Accounting Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION:



General Purpose

The accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
prepare financial management reports
ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
monitor and support taxation issues
develop and maintain financial data bases
financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues
analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems

Education and Experience

accounting degree or equivalent
2 -5 years accounting experience in the management of financial/accounting systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice
must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
knowledge of economic principles
knowledge of auditing practices and principles
knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
knowledge and experience of related computer skills (must be highly skilled in the use of the accounting software  Peachtree, advanced knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, MS Office applications)
must have good verbal skills and good written skills in order to handle the administrative needs that come with accounting problems
must have excellent work habits including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done


Position: Office Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION

Accounting

Keeping up to date accounts of all cash and cheque disbursements
Maintaining adequate records of all purchases
Ensuring that bills are settled promptly to avoid disruption
Entering all company transactions in the appropriate ledgers on a daily basis
Ensuring that clients and candidates are invoiced as soon as service is rendered
Ensure that payments are made as at when due.
Documentation

Maintaining a filing system for the office administration.
Ensure that all documents leaving the company are properly registered especially resumes of candidates sent for interview.
Assisting with document preparation
Responsible for mailing and distribution of documents
General

Making travel arrangements and airline bookings for the CEO
Ensuring that all office supplies are bought and are at adequate levels at all times
Being flexible to work in any department if the need arises


Position: Sales Executives
JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must have excellent selling skills
Must have an in-depth knowledge of product
Must be able to conduct price analysis
Must be computer literate with proficiency in the use of relevant software
Excellent presentation skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good negotiating skills
Must be able to create and maintain relationship with customers
